Disabling the aDbLUE system in the VOLVO FH13 car
The SCR (AdBlue) system emulator for VOLVO FH13 trucks is our proprietary solution for cars of this brand equipped with engines that meet the Euro 5 emission standard.
After installing the emulator and repairing, the SCR system in the vehicle no longer reports any errors. The use of our solution means that there is no torque limitation in the car and the related decrease in power and speed.
Below we present the disabling of the SCR system in the VOLVO FH13 440 Euro 4 car.
This time we got a Volvo FH440 truck, a truck used mainly on the construction site, which additionally contributed to shortening the life of the Urea dosing system.
The emulator was programmed and connected to the truck’s IT network. Now you can, for example, disconnect the plug from the SCR pump. The entire SCR system can also be removed. This will not cause errors in the motor controller. In cars with a NOx sensor, the sensor can also be removed.
Pressing the accelerator pedal for 5 seconds with the ignition on causes the car to turn off the lights and delete active faults. Resetting the faults removes the power (torque) limitation. The problem of power reduction caused by errors in the emission reduction system will never return.
During diagnostics, the car displays vehicle identification data, i.e. VIN number, program code, software version – as in the original SCR pump. The data is generated when the device is connected for the first time. The diagnostic tester also shows no errors.
