CATERPILLAR Delete Kit – DPF & DEF (SCR) Emulator
CATERPILLAR DPF and DEF (AdBlue) Emulators: Optimized Solutions for Enhanced Machinery Performance
Unlock the potential of your CATERPILLAR machinery with our specialized CATERPILLAR Delete Kit, designed to effectively remove the DPF filter and DEF (SCR) emission reduction system. Tailored specifically for machines equipped with CATERPILLAR engines, our emulators are essential for owners looking to boost efficiency and eliminate common emission system issues.
Key Features of Our CATERPILLAR Delete Kits:
- Caterpillar DPF Delete Kit: This version is perfect for CATERPILLAR engines only equipped with a diesel particulate filter, ensuring seamless operation without the particulate filter.
- Caterpillar DEF Delete Kit: Ideal for engines that include both a diesel particulate filter (DPF) and a selective catalytic reduction (SCR) system. This kit also handles the diesel exhaust fluid tank (DEF/AUS 32/AdBlue), providing comprehensive emission control.
Our CATERPILLAR Delete Kits are compatible with CAT machines that have experienced faults resulting in power or torque limitations. The emulator simulates the correct functioning of potentially damaged components, ensuring that their actual condition doesn’t impact machine performance. Once installed, the system operates error-free with no limitations on torque.

Effortless Installation Process:
Installing our CATERPILLAR Delete Kit is straightforward and non-invasive. The kit includes a wiring bundle with plugs compatible with the original equipment, allowing for easy integration without modifying existing components. The emulator effectively disables components such as:
- Urea dosing pump (AdBlue)
- DPF differential pressure sensor
- Temperature sensors
- Particulate filter
- NOx sensors (if any)
- NH3 sensors (if any)
Each kit comes with a detailed instruction manual, and our skilled service technicians are available for support by phone or online, ensuring you can always get assistance when you need it.
Guaranteed Quality and Reliability:
We back each of our CATERPILLAR Delete Kits with a 24-month guarantee, affirming our commitment to quality and your satisfaction. Whether you’re facing persistent DPF and DEF issues or simply seeking to enhance your machine’s operation, our delete kits provide a reliable and permanent solution.

Do I need special tools to install the CAT Delete Kit?
Basic mechanical tools are all that will be required. Socket wrench, screwdriver and pliers will be enough in order to install the CAT Delete Kit. Supplied with the kit comes a detailed diagrams and step-by-step instructions. Furthermore you can contact our tech department should you require assistance with the installation.
How long does the installation take?
The installation of the CAT Delete Kit is very straightforward thanks to the plug and play technology. The only thing required will be to locate and gain access to the sensors that will be replaced with the Delete Kit’s wiring harness. Professional installation should take up to 1 hour while people with basic mechanical skills should be able to complete it in between 1 to 3 hours.
How much horsepower will I gain after installing the CATERPILLAR Delete Kit?
Most of our customers report a noticeable increase in power and torque. The exact value varies depending on the engine but the estimate of expected power increase is in between 15% to 30% more power. The result depends on the machine’s condition as well as operating environment, however improved throttle response and reduced engine strain is definitely expected.
What happens if my excavator is already showing DPF/DEF error codes?
The emulator is designed to work with machines that already have experienced emission system faults. The codes should disappear post-installation. However, if the condition of the machine became critical it might be necessary to erase the codes for the device to begin operation.
Will installing the delete kit void my excavator’s warranty?
Installation of the device does not void warranty as it does not make any changes to the original software of the ECU. Physical filter modification can void the warranty however the device itself does not have any effect on the original programming of the machine and does not void the warranty.
Is it legal to use a delete kit on my CAT excavator?
CAT DPF Delete Kit is meant for off-highway, non commercial use which makes it legal to use in the USA. However we highly recommend to always verify your local regulations and follow them to stay clear of being in violation of any laws. Many machines and certain construction or mining operations are exempt from emission requirements.
Can I pass equipment inspections with the CATERPILLAR Delete Kit installed?
It depends on local inspection requirements. In most places off-highway equipment is subject to different emission regulations than on-highway vehicles like cars. We suggest to consult local authority for precise instructions and guidance.
How long will a deleted CAT excavator last?
With proper maintenance, excavator with deleted emission system can last longer than machine with original emission systems. Deleting DPF and/or DPF/DEF systems will reduce the risk of costly failures and improve operating conditions of any machine, not only excavators.
What maintenance is eliminated after installing the delete kit?
The DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter) no longer requires cleaning or replacement, DPF regeneration and downtime it causes becomes the song of the past, DEF (Diesel Exhaust Fluid) refills are no longer necessary, DEF injector maintenance or sensor replacements are also to be forgotten and any maintenance required for the emission system components are no longer required.
Will I still have engine protection features after the delete?
All engine systems including but not limited to oil pressure or coolant temperature will remain fully functional. The only systems being bypassed are the emission systems without making any changes to the original software. The device is completely safe and will not affect the engine in any negative way.
What if the delete kit doesn’t resolve my emission system problems?
If the device seems to not run properly it is most likely that some installation point had been skipped or misunderstood. In such case we recommend to always contact our technical support team and they will help you with the installation. Most installation issues are easily resolved with proper guidance of our technician.
How do I know if my CAT excavator model is compatible?
Our kits support most of Caterpillar machines and engines. We also support the newest iteration of CAT ECU (Engine Control Unit) including but not limited to: ADEM4, ADEM5, ADEM6 A6E2, A6M12, A6E4, A6E10, A6E11, A5E2V2, A5E12, A5M12, B6M5. If you’re not sure if your machine is supported contact us and we’ll confirm compatibility for you.
Can the delete kit cause any damage to my machine?
No. The device is safe and will not cause any damage to your machine. The device does not make any changes to the ECU it simply communicates with the ECU, without any modifications. It is designed with built-in safety features that will not allow it to cause anything problematic.
What should I do if I encounter problems during installation?
Should you encounter any problems during the installation, please contact our tech support and consult your case. Each case is different and the problem with your machine might not necessarily be related to the emission system. This is why if in doubt we always recommend to contact and consult our technician who will be happy to answer your questions and provide assistance.
